In Part II of WordPress Week, we’ll be talking about WordPress cheat sheets (read part I here). The following sites feature some great tools to help maximize your developing time in WordPress. All of them are free to use and easily downloadable to have as a quick reference on your computer or as a printout. 1) WP Tuts+
WPTuts+ offers a series of helpful, easy-to-digest infographics for WordPress users at all levels of expertise. These cheat sheets include graphs and flowcharts of WordPress mechanisms like template hierarchy and a step-by-step breakdown of a WordPress theme. The list also includes snippets of PHP in an accessible format for quick reference. These images are free and available for online viewing or by file download. 2) Onextrapixel
Geared towards developers, this WordPress cheat sheet is filled with tools for easy reference when it comes to creating WordPress themes. It also includes valuable reference information like template and header tags and theme definitions. This free download is available as both a .JPG and a .PDF.

3) DBSWebsite.com
This site is a WordPress reference stockpile that includes dozens and dozens of tags for your site organized by categories like blog info tags, edit link tags, and permalink tags. This is a simple and very organized way to look up the tag you need. Keep in mind the information is not all on one “sheet,” but divided into different pages.

4) QuicklyCode
This creative cheat sheet is one that lists popular templates, PHP snippets, and more available as a desktop wallpaper. This is a simple and easily accessible way to get the heavily used WordPress tools you need in short order.

5) Chitich
This site offers a great cheat sheet that functions as a WordPress theme development checklist. This is a helpful tool for developers going through a final run through of their themes and is very thorough in its execution.
