It’s been a minute, but welcome back to the ASO Customer Spotlight, where we take a moment to show off one of our customer’s websites. This month, we’re looking at Toildrop, an online magazine focused on sustainability-inspired products, art, and design concepts.
Here’s a few words about the site from its creator:
What is your website?
Tell us a little bit about it.
“Toildrop is a webzine that collects & publishes designs influenced by natural sensibilities, inspired by the beauty of nature as well as a product of an urgency for creating a beautiful and sustainable future for our planet. We are looking to a day when there will be no pollution, and most importantly, no garbage in our oceans and landfills from improperly designed products & frivolous packaging.”
Why do people care about your website?
“We are illustrating the richness and abundance present in natural systems, and aiming to mirror it back into product, art and concept design — this is to make these sustainable choices more interesting and more appealing to consumers, and designers who design them.”
Who is your primary audience?
“Designers with a great sense of what green design and sustainability mean, and as I’ve been told, they like to see other new designs for inspiration. Readers can also submit their new work for publishing, using a submission form to the wind category. Our content is categorized in nature inspired subsections which make browsing not only different, but also fun.
We have visitors from around the world, not only designers, but people who care about making their life simpler and greener, and on our website they find many ideas, green dyi projects, hand made products, etc.”
