ASO Road Trip Contest Update!

So, we’re a couple weeks into getting entries for the ASO Road Trip Contest, and wanted to mention a couple things that could help you win the fabulous prize package.

Enter the contest here, if you haven’t already.

Remember, the winner will get up to $100 in hosting for 6 months, and a Yeti Roadie Cooler stocked with goodies, hand delivered to you by folks from the ASO staff!

We’ll also have a meetup in your town to celebrate! Here’s some things to keep in mind:

1) Fill out the entire form.
Tell us who you are, and how to contact you! Please! We want you to win.  We will never use your information for anything past contacting you to inform you that you’ve won, so no need to worry. Also, you should definitely tell us a specific town or city you’d like us to go to (we appreciate your unbridled passion for the state of Nebraska, but without a specific location or name to go along with your entry, we can’t consider it! Enter again!).

2) We’re staying in the Continental US this go-round.
If we do this again next year, we’ll definitely consider more far-off lands!

3) Did you enter? Tell us more about your town!
So far, we’ve got a lot of interesting entries and a whole lot of indecision about a winner (which won’t be announced until Oct 1, 2012). So, what have you got in mind? Any pics of your town? What’s fun to do? Where should we hang out? Talk up your town in the comments! Tell us over Twitter & Facebook! Don’t be shy. Tell us why your neck of the woods is best!

Or, send your persuasive hometown spiel to: jim [at] asmallorange [dot][com]

Make it interesting for us, there’s loads of possibilities!

Looking for hosting? Remember, we’re offering 30% off the first month for most of our hosting plans!

I used the form a few days ago, and I don’t think I got any sort of confirmation that I was successful in submitting. Does the entry form send a confirmation?

Carl- After you fill out the form, it should take you to a screen that says your response was recorded. If you’re having issues of any kind, feel free to email your entry to me @ jim [at] a smallorange [dot] [com]. Thanks for letting us know!

Quarter-hour left to enter the contest. So! Hey, hey! And, here’s my entry. Will the yeti stop out-east, Indianapolis-like? Is the windy city of Chicago on your stops, yet? Do y’all drive a yeti in-style or what? I gig around Dayton & Cincinnati too! Yeah, I might be in one the four markers. Punch me a line if ya need help finding destinations-of-choice in those cities. My email is as notifier-live as SMS, my people.

P.S. Thanks for the service and such an awesome deal on server space. Yall rock! Lovin’ me, the citrus grove.

Though, if i could advise one spot… It’s Squealer’s BBQ of Indianapolis. Those are my people. It’s on 86th Street off the 465 interstate near 65 interstate. Look it up on YELP or Urban Spoon if ya need to. Can’t beat the price for Blues, BBQ and something to help wash this down.
