Customer Spotlight: Restless Cities
Welcome to the fourth and final ASO Customer Spotlight for September! The Orange Jubilee is almost over, but there’s still time to get in on some great deals and giveaways, such as:
The ASO Road Trip Contest: Tell us why we should come to your town, and if we pick your neck of the woods, you’ll win up to $100 in hosting for 6 months, and a Yeti Roadie Cooler stocked with goodies, hand-delivered to you by ASO team members!
Enter here! Friday is the deadline!
Ok, now that you’re up to speed, let’s check out Restless Cities, an awesome LA-based travel and music blog:
Who are you?
We are a music and travel blog based in Los Angeles. We started in January here in A Small Orange and we’ve improved a lot since then! It’s mainly run by a tiny 22-year-old photographer who has to tiptoe at shows to see anything. Thank heavens for photo pits! She is greatly helped by a really tall writer who has an incredible way with words. Together, they make up the core team of Restless Cities and assisted by really talented contributors.
The main thing about our site is that we only feature stuff we like which means you’ll never find negative reviews of albums or songs in it. Why use up all that energy to diss something? We’d rather talk about how much we love this or that. That being said, our content is strictly curated based on our musical tastes and we stand by everything 100%.
What is your website?
Why do people care about your website?
We’re all twentysomethings in the site so we like to think we’re very relatable in how we choose to spend our time and money. Concerts are not cheap, so we really try to narrow down the shows lined up for the week to only the ones we’d pay for ourselves. We’re also super proud of our photo coverage of shows because they’re done with love for the music and the bands!
When it comes to our travel features, our decisions are mainly influenced by our lack of funds and vacation days. We want to be positive enforcers of living within your means without sacrificing fun and adventure. It’s very possible to go on a weekend road trip adventure to San Francisco and Yosemite without spending more than $500. We did it, so we know!
We absolutely love doing what we do and we can’t wait to share more.
Thanks for sharing, folks!
