ASO Customer Spotlight: Nate Jones

ASO Ninja Profiles: Gordan M.

4684047177_f4227a6bbc_z.jpg Welcome to the third installment of A Small Orange's Ninja Profiles.  So far, we've talked to Matt and Brent. This week, we'll head over to Croatia to chat with Gordan:

Gordan Mirt

Where do you live?
Zagreb, Croatia

What are the most common issues you find customers have in your day to day?
Mail not working, spam working.

What blogs/sites do you follow to keep your skills sharp?
Google. But, seriously, I could spend hours reading many pages and trolling through various forums. Unix sites, mainly. gordan-blog.jpg

Any quick tips or advice for our customers that you feel can enhance their experience with ASO?
Make your account safer: keep your scripts up-to-date, use strong passwords and keep them safe, keep your PC clean, get expert help if you notice anything suspicious. If you find yourself needing any help, just give us a shout. That is why we are here 24/7 for you.

What's your favorite online waste of time?
Clearing my mailboxes from spam. Nah, just kidding. Been online forever, it seems. I'm a member at few forums and have my own site which is super-secret-private from the public, but in fact is just empty. Kidding, again. Browsing stuff around like most people. Movies fan.

What inspires you?
My son. Children, in general.  We can learn a lot from kids. As we grew up, we lost the innocence of childhood, we stop smiling on “small” things and we focus on “serious” things, but:  “the meaning of things lies not in the things themselves, but in our attitude towards them.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Pardon my French.

Favorite customer experience thus far:
"Do you hold any database backups? If so, do you take bribes?" Of course, I did for free, though no backup restore was needed, and I fixed his DB manually, but it was funny as hell! Thanks, Gordan!
