This month we’re looking at the photography site of Ryan Stone, a talented photojournalist based out of Roanoke, VA. His work has appeared in papers such as the New York Times, Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, among others.
Who Are You?
I’m a freelance photographer based in Roanoke, Virginia. In two years I went from graduating college to working for publications like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post. Since graduating I’ve worked on projects about cycling and voting, among many other things. Check out my most recent work right here.
What Is Your Website?
Why Do People Care About Your Website?
After my camera and my phone, my website is probably the third most important thing for me. Since I’m a freelancer, I need to be ready to grab an assignment at the drop of a hat, and this is my first point of contact online. Therefore, my website has to be functioning all the time, because if someone decides they need a photographer at 3am and my page won’t load, I’m out a potential client.
What Does Your Website Look Like?
Thanks for sharing with us, Ryan! Keep up the great work.
