A call to action is a pretty typical part of an advertisement. Video advertisements have been shown to be much more effective than textual advertisements in this regard. Website visitors are 64% more likely to buy a product on an online retail website after watching a video on that website. Also, customers who watch videos stay on a website 2 minutes longer, on average.

 

Improved conversion rates

Video marketing improves sales and leads by approximately 64%, according to experts. Additionally, businesses have started incorporating video into training and marketing strategies with great success.

 

Preferred communication style for customers

About 65% of customers reported that they’d click through to a retail website after watching a video. 50% said that they’d look up more information after watching a video. 50% also said that they went on to make a purchase after watching a compelling video.

As a new, exciting, and popular form of communication, online video has a bright future. It is estimated that 74% of web traffic by 2017 will be in a video format, so it’s time to start including it in your online strategy.
